Last week, I followed with a bunch of students of my doctoral school IMPRS for Organismal Biology the course Coping with the challenges of a PhD organised by Tress and Tress. Many tips have been issued. A key to a successful thesis would be good planning, over the three years of such a project! I worked on it during the past few days, a real puzzle in light of the many research activities: reading publications, doing fieldwork, analysing data, writing papers, preparing talks and so on!
Actually, I am focusing on my PhD proposal which should be completed and validated by early next year.
